"Lucky Luke" by Morris and Goscinny - Now available in English!

Recently I've been buying copies of old Lucky Luke books in Danish from local used book stores. This funny western comic book series is scripted by legendary Asterix writer Goscinny. I have fond memories of these books from my childhood, and it's somewhat weird to read the books for the first time in 25 years. I'm getting old, man!

The Lucky Luke series has always been very popular in most European countries, but until recently they weren't being translated into English. But now the British publisher Cinebook has started releasing them. So it's basically a great opportunity for English language readers to catch up with this classic humour series.

The Lucky Luke books can be read in any order, more or less. About 1/3 of the books tend to be about Lucky Luke's arch foes, the Dalton gang. I loved the Dalton books when I was a kid, and they're still among my favourites.

Here are three the Dalton-related books published in English so far. They're VERY funny:

I'm delighted to read your blog about our English editions of Lucky Luke! We've published 10 volumes so far and are releasing a new volume every two months this year. :-)

We're also translating other beloved Franco-Belgian series, such as Yakari, Iznogoud, Blake & Mortimer, The Blue Coats, etc., etc.

Thanks for your review!!

It's cool that you're translating all that stuff... but I'm not sure it's considered 'cool' when you try to pimp your stuff when I already linked to your homepage. Oh well, never mind. I wish you luck with your line of books.
